This is charger I use in my workshop, as it will automatically charge NiMh, NiCd batteries in any range from 2.4 volts to 14.4 volts, be they AA,D,PP3,C etc (as long as you have a suitable holder for them of course or a charging socket (see my electronics page for charging socket).  The unit gives the correct charge current and then goes into standby when finished charging. As the name suggests it is SMART! It has a mains lead and charging output lead fitted with a 2.1mm centre DC plug.
